Specific Responsibilities
Pastor of youth (75% of time)
Pastor to students in grades seven through twelve
Develop and implement a strategy to guide students
through a process of win, build, equip, multiply and send
Oversight of youth group meeting times
Oversight/Teaching of youth Sunday School Class
Development of youth outreach
Development of youth volunteer staff
Communication with parents/leaders
Oversight of
Support and involvement in the Allegheny Region and
national Churches of God, General Conference youth ministry events
Pastor of worship (25% of time)
Plan and lead worship services
Develop worship teams for all services (including new
satellite campuses)
Give leadership to all technical ministries
General Responsibilities
Attend Staff meetings
Visitation – hospitals, funerals, etc.
Preach on Sundays when senior pastor is on vacation
Others as directed by the senior pastor
Qualifications
Born-again Christian with a solid commitment to the
Lordship of Christ in their life
Bachelors (or Masters) degree from an accredited
college/university with a concentration in a field of Christian ministry
Willingness to be licensed or ordained by the Allegheny
Region, Churches of God, General Conference
Good rapport with congregation and healthy relationships
with people
Creative, Recruiter, Motivator, Developer
Gifted and trained in the area of Youth & Worship
Ministry
Must be personable and work well with people
Committed to the disciple-making process
Must have a heart for lost people and a vision for
reaching them
A spiritual guide and mentor
